The DNA is copied before the nucleus starts to divide. During division, the two copies of one chromosome move to the same end of the cell. The copies of every other chromosome move to opposite ends. The cytoplasm then divides.
Give the number of chromosomes in each new cell.
Explain whether the two new cells are genetically identical.
