Here is their experimental method:

  1. Divide the grassland into two equal halves: Area X and Area Y.
  2. Place 5 quadrats in different positions on Area X.
  3. Place 5 more quadrats in different positions on Area Y.
  4. Count the number of dandelion plants in each quadrat.
  5. Spray Area X with the organic vinegar-based herbicide spray.
  6. Spray Area Y with the same volume of water.
  7. Repeat steps 2 to 4 after 4 weeks.
