Question 225

Acts of Kindness and Workplace Morale

Research suggests that performing acts of kindness can improve emotional well-being. A team of occupational psychologists wants to investigate how performing small acts of kindness (such as making a colleague a cup of coffee, leaving a supportive note, or helping with a difficult task) affects employee morale. They plan to use a self-report questionnaire, asking participants to describe the acts of kindness they performed and detail how these actions influenced their own mood and workplace relationships.
