A sports scientist investigated the effect of wearing a 5 kg weighted training vest on the precision of movement in semi-professional athletes. She conducted an experiment using a sample of 10 athletes obtained via opportunity sampling at a regional training center. Each participant completed a standard 5-minute agility course under two conditions. In the first condition, participants ran the course in their standard training kit (without the weighted vest) and the number of technical errors (such as knocking over cones or stepping out of bounds) was recorded. In the second condition, completed on a different day, the same participants ran the identical course while wearing a 5 kg weighted vest, and their technical errors were recorded again. The data collected is presented below:
