Green spaces and creative writing

Educational researchers want to explore how physical environments influence creative outputs in teenagers. Instead of focusing on traditional classroom layouts, they are investigating whether conducting creative writing sessions in a local park area (green space) leads to more imaginative writing compared to sessions held in a windowless school library. The study is to be conducted with 180 Year 10 students in a secondary school. The researchers plan to ask students open questions about their experiences during the writing tasks.
