Soundscapes and Concentration
With the rise of digital distractions, researchers are investigating methods to enhance cognitive performance in educational settings. One proposed method is the use of binaural beats—audio tracks that play slightly different frequencies in each ear. A study is planned to compare the concentration levels of students who listen to 40 Hz binaural beats during a 45-minute revision session with students who revise in complete silence for the same duration. Concentration levels will be measured using the standardized d2 Test of Attention score.
