How do gig-economy delivery couriers manage physical fatigue and sleep disruption during high-demand periods? To explore the relationship between delivery shifts and fatigue levels, a researcher posted an invitation link on a private online forum for couriers working for a single food-delivery platform in central Manchester. A self-selected sample of 95 couriers aged 18–25 completed an anonymous online survey about their average sleep duration and self-rated daily fatigue levels.
