Anxiety under pressure. Psychologists investigated how subjective academic anxiety levels differ between students at different stages of their degree. They used a self-report method, hosting an online questionnaire completed by university undergraduates during their final exam week. The data from the first twenty First-year students and the first twenty Third-year students to respond are presented in the table below.
