Study of cue reactivity in alcohol use

A researcher used a set of alcohol-related images to assess craving ratings before and after participants took part in a 40-minute mindfulness-based urge surfing session. In a repeated measures design, 18 self-reported heavy drinkers were tested before and after the session using a single set of images.

Explain how two different, matched sets of images could be used in this study and why this would be an improvement.
