However, when they are tasked with registering a damaged return package, they must enter a 14-character alphanumeric serial number (e.g. "GB-902-TK-441-X"). Operatives find it impossible to remember this long serial number unless they group the characters into smaller segments and whisper them continuously until they reach the terminal.
