Elara is a highly successful professional chess player. She was taught the game at a very young age by her mother, who was an international chess master. From the age of five, Elara attended an elite chess academy where she spent six hours every day studying board positions and tactics.
In a recent magazine interview, Elara said: "My maternal family has always had strong analytical minds, so clinical strategy is in my blood. The thrill of outmanoeuvring an opponent is an addictive reward that drives me forward. I honestly feel like I am programmed to play, and even if I wanted to walk away, I couldn't."
