A psychologist investigated the relationship between screen use and sleep in toddlers. Parents kept a diary of the average number of daily hours their toddler spent using touchscreens. The psychologist also recorded the average number of hours each toddler slept at night. The study showed that the more hours toddlers spent using touchscreens, the fewer hours of sleep they had at night.
