Elena is observing her two children, Leo (aged 4) and Sofia (aged 9). Leo believes that when juice is poured from a short, wide cup into a tall, narrow glass, there is now more juice. However, Sofia points out that the amount of juice is exactly the same because 'you haven't added any or spilled any'. Sofia is also able to sort her collection of building blocks by both color and size simultaneously, whereas Leo can only group them by color.
