He observes his father putting on safety goggles, running a sanding block smoothly across the wood, and blowing away the sawdust. A client enters, admires the smooth wood, and hands the father a generous cash tip with a warm smile. Later that evening, Leo is found in the garage wearing his swim goggles, rubbing a block of polystyrene across a piece of scrap wood, and blowing on it.
