Equating the coordinate and geometric products gives cos⁡(A−B)=cos⁡Acos⁡B+sin⁡Asin⁡B\cos(A-B)=\cos A\cos B+\sin A\sin Bcos(A−B)=cosAcosB+sinAsinB.
