The graph shows part of the curve with equation $y=24x2+9x\displaystyle y = \frac{24}{x^2} + 9x$

A coordinate sketch shows the positive-x branch of the curve C, the normal l through P(2, 24), the line x = 1, and the region R between the curve and normal.

$P (2, 24)$ lies on $C$ . Line $l\,$ is the normal to $C\,$ at $P$ . Region $R\,$ is bounded by the curve $C$ , the line $l\,$ and the line with equation $x = 1$ .

Show that the area of $R\,$ is $32\displaystyle \frac{3}{2}$ .
