Integration reverses differentiation

Integration is the reverse process of differentiation. An antiderivative of f(x)f(x)f(x) is a function F(x)F(x)F(x) whose derivative is f(x)f(x)f(x), so F′(x)=f(x)F'(x)=f(x)F′(x)=f(x).
