  • Percentage composition by mass: C\text{C}C, 25.56%; H\text{H}H, 1.52%; Br\text{Br}Br, 72.92%.
  • The mass spectrum of E shows a molecular ion peak at m/z=328.7m/z = 328.7m/z=328.7.
  • The 13C{}^{13}\text{C}13C NMR spectrum of E shows a total of 5 peaks: four peaks in the aromatic region (120–150 ppm) and one peak in the aliphatic region (15–25 ppm).
