Reversible reactions and dynamic equilibrium

A reversible reaction can go in both directions, so products can react to re-form reactants. For example, N2O4(g)⇌2NO2(g)N_2O_4\text{(g)} \rightleftharpoons 2NO_2\text{(g)}N2O4(g)⇌2NO2(g) has a forward reaction and a reverse reaction.
